# Reminders

It reminds the user about equipment maintenance and shows how many days are remaining until it is due.it includes two types of  reminders 1. Preventive and 2. Calibrations

### **Preventive Maintenance Reminder**

It includes all the equipment that is recorded in the preventive maintenance module. It informs the user about the remaining days until the next service, hence the user does not need to manually add records for the reminders.

<mark style="color:blue;">**In the reminder module, there is a condition like that before 20 days of the due date, the user will get a reminder in this section if a user creates a new entry for the same equipment in those days then the user will not get a reminder for the old entry and it considers new entry of call entry and based on that entry it gives the reminder before 20 days of that due date.**</mark>

### Calibrations Reminder

It includes all records of equipment that are added to the calibration module and require maintenance at regular intervals.

## <mark style="color:blue;">**Reminders**</mark><mark style="color:blue;">**&#x20;**</mark>*<mark style="color:blue;">**E-mails**</mark>*&#x20;

**Only the admin user will receive an email for each type of reminder for the next 6 days from the current date. This means 6 days will be added to the current date, and the system will consider records (Preventive & Calibration) whose next due date falls within these 6 days. Emails must be sent for all records that meet this 6-day condition.**<br>

### *<mark style="color:blue;">**Reminder Email Behavior**</mark>*

* **Reminder emails are sent daily at 9:00 AM, but only if the specified condition is met for reminders as mentioned above.**
* **To change the scheduled time, update the schedule in the following file:**\
  **`App/Console/Kernel.php`**
